      What AOL version?

First of all, can you surf Intenet using AOL?
If you can, it must be security setting(s)by AOL that disallow IE to connect to Internet. Disable those, Firewall, for example.

        Aol problem on dial up

Aol 9.0 optimized. There is no issue with the firewall. Using a broadband connection he can use IE when on dial up he cannot use IE. The aol browser is working but, the individual wants to minimize the aol browser and use the Ie browser. At my location I can test both types of connections but, onsite it’s only dial up.

          Corrupt?

I’d guess IE(6)? is corrupt. It’s a pig to totally remove from EVERYWHERE, so try the easy way out by downloading the new IE7 or Firefox or Opera etc. and use one of them.

          Good Luck.
