Yes, if your writer can write blue ray disks. And, of course, only a blue ray reader can read them.

While I do have a Blu-ray drive that can write such, the media isn’t cheap and I find USB memory sticks to be more versatile and can be used widely.
Also, the recording time is too long IMO.

Thumb drives have replaced most forms of data storage that were traditionally stored on CD, DVD, Blue-Ray DVD and numerous other versions of that type of storage. Thumb drives are dirt cheap nowadays and easily available. I haven’t used my DVD drive on my computer in almost 5 years. Thumb drives are the latest and most used storage devices on most modern computers.

Blu-ray discs are primarily used for storing high-definition video and high-capacity data storage. They can store a variety of data types, such as video, audio, photos, and documents. However, the maximum storage capacity of a single Blu-ray disc is typically around 50 GB, so it may not be the best option for storing extremely large amounts of data. Additionally, it’s important to note that not all devices have the capability to read or write to Blu-ray discs.

Blue-beam plates are optical circles used to store top quality video and sound substance. They are fit for putting away a lot of information, up to 25GB for a solitary layer plate and 50GB for a double layer circle.

Yes, you can store various types of data on Blu-ray discs. Blu-ray technology allows for high-capacity storage, making it suitable for storing a wide range of content, including movies, videos, music, photos, documents, and more. Blu-ray discs have a much larger storage capacity compared to DVDs and CDs, with typical capacities ranging from 25 GB for single-layer discs to 50 GB for dual-layer discs.
Additionally, there are also triple-layer and quadruple-layer Blu-ray discs available that offer even higher storage capacities.
